Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, born March 26, 1991, also known professionally by the name Ari Lennox, hails from Washington, D.C. and is the first female artist to be signed by J. Cole's Dreamville Records label. She released her first EP on the label on October 21st, 2016, titled Pho. This is when she gained recognition. Her first album Shea Butter Baby was released on the 7th of May, 2019. Ari Lennox uploaded her first music on the internet in 2012. She dropped the single Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. The year 2014 saw her release more music via the Internet including Bound. In July of 2015, Omen featured her on his album Elephant Eyes featuring the track Sweat it Out. The following year, her songs were circulating among the Dreamville team because J.
